Before Brookgreen Gardens existed, the land was used for rice plantations.  Although rice is no longer grown on
Brookgreen property, this white rice is grown in South Carolina and much like the rice that was grown here in the garden.
This aromatic white rice gives an amazing aroma and is a  great side dish to any entree.
